PORTLAND, Ore., June 23, 2020 — Agilyx Corporation announced an exclusive collaboration with TechnipFMC to develop a process for purifying Agilyx Styrene Oil to high purity styrene. The partnership aims to expand circular economy and energy transition offerings by creating a new production pathway for styrene from post-use polystyrene products.

The purification process will integrate with Agilyx's existing depolymerization technology, accelerating recycled styrene and polystyrene market presence. Recycled styrene produced this way is expected to maintain the properties and functionality of traditionally manufactured styrene.
